How do schools projects, intercultural exchange projects and radio projects work together?
In the Children's Village you will meet children and adolescents of your age group who participate in an Intercultural Exchange Project which takes place in the Children’s Village at the same time. You will have courses together and you will learn more about their culture. You will discover and discuss differences, but also similarities. Maybe you will recognize that language, faith and origin are not the only factors that decide whether people understand and accept each other. Often great friendships between course participants develop.
You will have seen and experienced many things during your stay in Trogen. You will have gained knowledge and experience in intercultural diversity, children's rights and anti-racism, and you will be able to share it with others. As part of the programme, you will get a guided tour of our radio studio where Florian and the radio team will show you how to produce jingles and exciting radio shows. You will do research into interesting topics, put together your own texts for presentation and choose appropriate music for your broadcast. Finally you will go live on air together with your classmates to present your own radio show.
